Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has shared his reflections on the helicopter crash that occurred in Kabba, Kogi State, seven years ago, expressing gratitude to God for sparing his life and those of others on board.
In a message posted on his Instagram page on Monday, Osinbajo recalled the incident and thanked God for the protection that ensured all occupants survived the crash without injuries.
He noted that everyone involved in the accident walked away unharmed, describing the experience as a powerful reminder of divine mercy and grace.
In his message, the former Vice President offered heartfelt thanksgiving, acknowledging God’s faithfulness throughout his life and during the helicopter incident. He recalled how, seven years ago, every passenger was safely brought out of the crashed aircraft without a single injury or loss of life, attributing the outcome solely to God’s mercy.
Osinbajo concluded by expressing deep appreciation and giving all glory, honour, and adoration to God for the deliverance.
Similarly, his wife, Dolapo Osinbajo, also commemorated the anniversary of the incident on her Instagram page, where she reflected on the events of February 2, 2019, and thanked God for His protection.
She praised God for the miraculous escape and expressed gratitude for what she described as great deliverance, referencing a biblical passage to underscore her thanksgiving.
