Former Big Brother Naija housemate and entrepreneur Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has opened up about the challenges she faced after her controversial disqualification from the reality TV show.

Speaking during an interview on Pulse Hot Takes, Tacha revealed that many celebrities distanced themselves from her after she was kicked out of the show, believing her career was finished.

She explained that the backlash and isolation were tough, but she refused to let public opinion define her future. Instead, she focused on rebuilding her brand and finding new ways to connect with her audience.

“A lot of celebrities didn’t want to associate with me after my BBNaija disqualification. People concluded that it was over for me. But I was able to just pick myself back up by going back to what I know, which is making sales online, creating content, and just really trying to be a better version of the Tacha of yesterday,” she said.

Tacha, who has since evolved into a successful media personality, influencer, and businesswoman, noted that her resilience helped her turn the situation around, proving doubters wrong.

Despite the experience, she insisted she has no regrets about participating in the reality show, describing it as a major turning point in her life.

“Absolutely not. I don’t regret anything. I try to live my life without regrets because at the end of the day, there’s always a lesson to be learnt,” she added.

Since leaving the BBNaija house, Tacha has built a thriving brand, securing multiple endorsements, launching her own ventures, and becoming one of the most influential alumni of the show.
