Portable Alleges Father Exploiting Him Compares Situation to Mohbad’s Family Disputes

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has accused his father of taking advantage of him and meddling in his personal affairs.

Gossip News Now reports that the musician claims his father has taken his clothes and shoes, laid claim to his properties, and frequently contacted his baby mamas to demand money.

Portable stated that his father has access to the phone numbers of all his children’s mothers and regularly pressures them for financial support—a situation he described as unfair and stressful.

The singer compared his experience with the disputes that surrounded the late artiste Mohbad’s family.

He further revealed that, despite his father’s involvement in his life, he has not received proper care, educational support, or assistance in learning trades, leaving him to face life’s challenges alone.

Portable expressed his frustration, noting that his father’s presence has not translated into guidance or support.

In a video, he said:
“My daddy dey like Mohbad’s dad. He has taken all my shoes and clothes and he’s just after my properties. He has all my baby mama phone numbers and he bills them for money all the time.

“You dey with me, my life still dey scatter; when you no dey with me, my life go on. You no take care of me, you no send me school. You no even pay for my learning tailor. I swear to God, my papa still dey around me, my life still dey scatter. Why!”
