Portable Alleges Father Exploiting Him Compares Situation to Mohbad’s Family Disputes

Controversial Nigerian artiste Portable has publicly expressed frustration over what he describes as troubling actions by his father, alleging interference in both his finances and personal life. The singer claimed that rather than offering guidance, his father’s involvement has only added pressure and emotional strain.

In a video circulating online, Portable compared his situation to the highly publicized family disagreements that surrounded the late Mohbad. He suggested that the pattern of disputes within Mohbad’s family mirrors what he is currently experiencing at home.

The singer alleged that his father has taken possession of several of his personal belongings, including clothing and footwear, while also asserting control over some of his properties. According to him, these actions have left him feeling exploited instead of supported.

He further claimed that his father frequently reaches out to the mothers of his children to request money. Portable said the constant contact and financial demands placed on the women have created unnecessary tension, describing the situation as both unfair and distressing.

Beyond financial concerns, the artiste lamented what he sees as a lack of parental responsibility during his formative years. He stated that he did not receive proper educational backing or vocational training support, adding that he had to navigate life’s struggles largely on his own despite his father’s presence.

Expressing deep frustration, Portable questioned why his life has remained turbulent even with his father around. In his emotional remarks, he implied that the absence of mentorship and meaningful care has contributed significantly to his current challenges.
