Arsenal strengthened their hold on first place in the Premier League standings with an emphatic 4-0 away victory over Leeds United on January 31, delivering a dominant display to underline their title credentials.
The North London side produced a ruthless performance to brush aside Leeds and extend their advantage at the top of the table.
The Gunners were forced into a late adjustment before kick-off after Bukayo Saka picked up an injury, with Noni Madueke stepping into the starting lineup. Leeds showed early intent when Ethan Ampadu narrowly missed the target, but Arsenal soon asserted control of the contest.
The breakthrough arrived in the 27th minute, as Martín Zubimendi powered home a header from Madueke’s cross. Arsenal doubled their lead just before halftime in fortunate circumstances when Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.
Arsenal maintained their dominance after the restart. Viktor Gyökeres made it 3-0 in the 69th minute after being played through by Gabriel Martinelli, before Gabriel Jesus wrapped up the convincing win with a composed finish in the 86th minute.
The comprehensive victory keeps Arsenal top of the Premier League table with 53 points from 24 matches, ahead of Manchester City and Aston Villa, who are yet to play their Matchday 24 fixtures.
Bournemouth Secure Impressive Away Win at Wolves
AFC Bournemouth continued their fine form with a 2-0 away win against Wolves at Molineux in their Premier League Matchday 24 encounter.
Eli Junior Kroupi opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, finishing confidently after an assist from Amine Adli. Despite making several substitutions and applying pressure, Wolves were unable to find a way back into the game.
The visitors sealed the result deep into stoppage time when Alex Scott struck late to confirm all three points, further strengthening Bournemouth’s mid-table push.
Late Drama as Brighton and Everton Share the Spoils

Brighton thought they had secured victory when Pascal Groß found the net in the 73rd minute, following a neat assist from Yasin Ayari. However, Everton responded late and were rewarded in dramatic fashion as Beto scored in the 97th minute, snatching a point for the visitors.
