Popular Nigerian comedienne and actress, Anita Asuoha, widely known as Real Warri Pikin, has shared the gender of her baby with fans.

GossipNewsNow recalls that the entertainer announced her pregnancy in June 2025 while celebrating Father’s Day. Since then, she has continued to document her pregnancy journey online.

On Monday, September 8, 2025, the comedienne posted a heartwarming gender reveal video on her Instagram page, featuring herself, her husband, and their three children. The clip confirmed that the couple is expecting a baby girl, although Real Warri Pikin admitted she initially wished for a boy.

Meanwhile, the entertainer revealed that her gastric sleeve surgery played a major role in helping her conceive and has not affected her pregnancy.

Speaking in an interview with Punch, she explained that the surgery—which involved removing 80 percent of her stomach—enabled her to achieve a healthy weight, improved her overall well-being, and eliminated many of the health issues she faced due to obesity.

According to her, the weight-loss procedure made conception easier and has allowed her to enjoy a smooth, risk-free pregnancy.

She said:

“A lot of people are ignorant because they don’t understand what gastric sleeve surgery is. It took away a lot of issues I was having as a result of being overweight. With the surgery, I was even more likely to get pregnant quickly. Right now, I am not facing any health challenges.”
