Reality television personality and former BBNaija winner, Phyna, has stirred intense online debate following the circulation of a video in which she shared her views on marriage laws and gender equality.
In the viral clip, the reality star questioned why men are legally allowed to marry multiple wives while women are restricted to having only one husband, arguing that the law should be amended to reflect equal rights for both genders.
Phyna stated that if men can practice polygamy under Nigerian law, women should be granted the same freedom to marry more than one partner if they so choose.
