Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has reacted to the arrest of her close friend, Ann, in Lagos, linking it to personal disputes with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Gossip News Now reports that in a series of Instagram story posts on Tuesday, Regina questioned the reason behind Ann’s arrest and expressed concern over her friend’s safety, claiming the arrest was not conducted through proper legal channels.

She described the situation as having escalated from a domestic dispute into additional allegations. Regina explained that Ann had previously been accused of supplying drugs, an allegation that was later cleared without confrontation. The new accusation of theft, she said, arose only after she had chosen to address matters calmly rather than engage in conflict.

Regina accused her former husband of intentionally keeping her life embroiled in tension, despite having already achieved significant success. She said he repeatedly shifts accusations and creates drama around her and those close to her.

The actress added that she has had numerous private and public experiences she could share but refrains from doing so to avoid fueling what she described as a pattern of attention-seeking behavior.

She concluded her posts by questioning the purpose of the ongoing public disputes and what the ultimate goal behind them might be.
