After spending several days in custody, Samuel Ojeogwu, widely known as Sammy West and recognized as the brother of actress Regina Daniels, has now regained temporary freedom after meeting a court-approved bail arrangement set at ₦5 million.

Gossip News Now reports that the bail decision came on Monday, November 10, 2025, days after his legal troubles escalated. Before that ruling, he had first been remanded by a Dutse Magistrate Court on Thursday and was initially held at Keffi Prison before later being moved to Suleja Prison.
