Senator Natasha Applauds Regina Daniels After Actress Tests Negative For Hard Drugs

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central in the National Assembly, has expressed pride in Nollywood star Regina Daniels following the actress’s clean drug test result, which showed no traces of hard drugs except ecstasy (commonly called Molly) linked to her name in public speculation.

According to Gossip News Now , Regina Daniels revealed that she voluntarily submitted herself for a drug test in order to end the ongoing rumours and accusations circulating about her lifestyle.

The actress disclosed the development in an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday, describing recent months as some of the most challenging of her life—an overwhelming period that pushed her to the edge.

Reflecting on her experience, she wrote:
“These past few months have been nothing but heavy—one of those seasons that sits on your chest and asks, ‘So what are we doing next?’
It became a turning point that shook me completely. Everything familiar felt like it was collapsing right before my eyes.”

Despite the pressure and emotional strain, Daniels said she pulled through because she was lifted by an outpouring of love and support.

She added:
“But here’s the twist… I didn’t drown in it. Why? Because I was carried by the overwhelming love, patience, support, and understanding from my family, my friends, and even members of the public. For that, I am eternally grateful.”

Senator Natasha, reacting like many of Regina’s colleagues and fans, commented directly under the post, offering words of encouragement.

She wrote:
“Your journey is yours to OWN, and I am so proud of you, my darling.”
