Nigerian singer and hypeman Oluwafemi Oladapo, popularly known as Slimcase, has praised Wizkid for his luxurious lifestyle, describing it as unmatched in the Nigerian music industry.

In a post on his 𝕏 handle on Thursday, Slimcase said he would be content for life if he could enjoy even a fraction of Wizkid’s lifestyle.

“If I can get just 10 percent of Wizkid’s enjoyment, I am set for life,” he wrote. “Wizkid’s lifestyle is the most extravagant in the Nigerian music industry—no one even comes close. He enjoys luxury quietly, without flaunting it on camera.”

Meanwhile, Slimcase also shared his thoughts on the current state of Afrobeats. In an Instagram post, he criticised Nigerian artists for releasing too many songs and albums, arguing that the constant output is putting unnecessary pressure on musicians and diluting the quality of music.

“Too many songs, too many albums. Una dey put una self under too much pressure for this Niger sha. Take a chill pill and be like Rihanna. Do other things and come back with a fresh vibe,” he wrote.

He added, “Your sounds are getting boring because they’re coming too frequently in a year. I owe them a song this year and that’s it. Only God is new every morning. Everyday, every second, singles and albums dey kiii Afrobeats gradually—it’s not fun anymore.”
