The Nollywood community came together on Thursday to honour the late actress and producer Allwell Ademola with a heartfelt Service of Songs and prayer session.

Videos shared online captured industry colleagues, including Afeez Abiodun, Rotimi Salami, and Kunle Afod, participating in prayers and paying tribute to the filmmaker.

The event was marked by emotional prayers, tributes, and reflective moments, as friends and peers remembered Ademola’s impact on Nollywood.


Rotimi Salami Pays Tribute

Actor Rotimi Salami, one of Ademola’s closest associates, addressed attendees, appealing for forgiveness on her behalf.

He urged colleagues to keep praying for her soul and emphasized the importance of preserving the legacy and contributions she left behind in the industry.


Star-Studded Attendance

Many notable Nollywood figures were present, including Odunlade Adekola, Saheed Balogun, Bolaji Amusan, Abiola Adebayo, Iyabo Ojo, Fausat Balogun, Eniola Ajao, and Fathia Balogun.

Most guests wore customised white T-shirts featuring Ademola’s image, reflecting the unity and respect within the industry.


Ceremony And Burial Plans

According to the family, the Service of Songs was followed by preparations for a candlelight procession, with an Artistes’ Night scheduled later in the evening and final remarks expected by 11 pm.

The burial ceremony is set for Friday at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos State.

Allwell Ademola passed away on December 27 after suffering a heart attack at her home.
