Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Thelma Lawson, has opened up about the challenges of maintaining her lifestyle and public image since leaving the reality TV show.

Speaking in an interview with Yanga FM, the 27-year-old lifestyle influencer and skincare entrepreneur shared that life after BBNaija has been both rewarding and financially demanding.

Gossip News Now reports that Thelma, who became known as one of the most stylish contestants of the “10/10” edition, revealed that her fans now look up to her as a fashion icon — a reputation that comes with constant pressure to look the part.

The Rivers State-born businesswoman explained that she now spends significantly on her wardrobe and public appearances to maintain her image.

“This new life is expensive,” she said. “Because you are showing up for events. I came out of the house and found out that I was named ‘the most fashionable.’ Now I have an audience that wants to see what Thelma is wearing.”

The mother of one added that while fame has opened doors, it also comes with emotional and financial strain. Balancing her growing brand, social expectations, and family life, she admitted, has not been easy.

Despite the pressure, Thelma said she remains grateful for the opportunities that have come her way since the show ended.
