According to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Lagos, the exchange rate in the parallel market on Sunday was as follows:
- Selling rate: ₦1,495 per dollar
- Buying rate: ₦1,489 per dollar
Official Dollar to Naira Exchange Rate (CBN)
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), which does not recognize the parallel market, recorded the following official rates:
- Highest rate: ₦1,469 per dollar
- Lowest rate: ₦1,460 per dollar
The CBN has advised individuals and businesses seeking foreign exchange to transact through licensed commercial banks.
