Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have announced that they are expecting their first child together.

Gossip News Now reports that the couple shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a video that captured Veekee proudly showing her baby bump. Both Veekee and Atere appeared in matching outfits, symbolising the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Captioning the post, Veekee wrote:

Veekee, who is widely celebrated for her bridal and couture fashion designs, tied the knot with Atere in 2023.

Towards the end of 2025, speculation about a possible pregnancy began circulating online after fans observed noticeable changes in her appearance in photos and videos. At the time, the couple chose not to address the rumours.

Following the official announcement, congratulatory messages have poured in from fans, colleagues within the fashion and entertainment industries, and social media users. The pregnancy marks a major milestone for the couple as they prepare to welcome their first child.

Meanwhile, in a separate development, Nollywood actress Blessing Nze has opened up about how finances are managed in her marriage to actor Stan Nze.

Gossip News Now reports that the film producer revealed that their relationship does not follow conventional money-sharing formulas such as 50/50 or 70/30. According to her, both partners take full responsibility when it comes to finances, with each contributing their best without keeping score.

She explained that they both cover expenses when necessary and later exchange receipts to maintain proper financial records.
