Renowned Nigerian music executive Collins Ajareh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has praised his former artist, Wande Coal, declaring him as having the best vocals in the Nigerian music industry.
Gossip News Now reports that the Mavin Records boss shared this opinion during an interactive session with fans on 𝕏.
The conversation began when a fan complimented Don Jazzy, calling him the most unique voice in the industry.
The fan wrote, “You’ve got the best and the most unique voice in the music industry.”
Don Jazzy acknowledged the compliment but shifted the crown for “best voice” to Wande Coal.
He replied, “Most unique I agree, best na Wande [Coal].”
Wande Coal is widely celebrated as one of Afrobeats’ finest vocalists, with prominent artists like Wizkid, Fireboy DML, and Oxlade crediting him as a key inspiration.
Separately, Don Jazzy recently disclosed that he has no plans to purchase a private jet, despite having the means.
In an interview with YouTuber Habby Forex, he explained that he prefers focusing on responsibilities and long-term investments over short-lived luxury.
The music mogul also offered advice to young people on financial prudence, urging them to limit spending on unnecessary items.
According to Don Jazzy, there is no better investment than investing in oneself, particularly through gaining knowledge and skills.
