Former Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has predicted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure an easy victory in the 2027 presidential election.

Tinubu’s Growing Political Strength

Speaking on Channels Television, Jandor argued that Tinubu’s defeat in Lagos during the 2023 election will not repeat itself, as the President now commands broader political influence nationwide.

“Remember, in 2023, Jandor and his Lagos for Lagos movement were outside, and this time, we are back inside. So, it won’t be the same thing as what you witnessed in 2023.

2027, not only in Lagos but in the entire country, is going to be a walkover for the man whose courage has given us a lot in this country today,” he said.

Jandor, who resigned from the PDP and rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in March, said his return was inspired by the party’s winning mentality. He stressed that his decision to support Tinubu stems from confidence in the President’s leadership and influence.

His Own Political Ambition

Despite backing Tinubu, Jandor reaffirmed his ambition to contest for Lagos governorship in 2027, insisting that Aso Rock is already secured until 2031.

“There is no vacancy in Aso Rock till 2031, so for Jandor, I am running in 2027 and I have so declared,” he said.
