Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has declared that there is no opposition party strong enough to challenge the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State.

Speaking during an endorsement rally in support of President Bola Tinubu and Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, for a second term, Bello assured the President of total victory in Kogi during the 2027 general elections.

According to the former governor, President Tinubu does not need to campaign in the state because of the overwhelming support his administration continues to enjoy.

He said, “President Tinubu, you don’t even need to come to Kogi State to campaign in 2027. There is no opposition here. Those making noise have not seen the lion. When the lion roars, they will run with their tails.”

Bello described President Tinubu as a visionary leader and praised his contributions to Kogi State’s development, including infrastructure, security, and political appointments.

“Every great nation must have a leader that everyone gravitates towards, and Mr. President, you are that leader. We will continue to stand with you even after you leave office,” he stated.

The former governor also commended Governor Usman Ododo’s leadership, assuring that the state remains solidly behind the APC.

“We thank the President for all he has done for us — infrastructural development, appointments, improved security, and financial support. Your son, Ododo, is doing excellently well, and under the APC, Kogi will surely reach the promised land,” Bello said.
