Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has resumed her public outburst against her estranged partner, Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing him of manipulation, abuse, and psychological control.

In a lengthy Instagram post shared in the early hours of Sunday, November 9, 2025, Daniels alleged that Nwoko deliberately isolated her from her family, portraying them negatively to weaken her emotional support system.

The mother of two admitted to having used drugs but claimed the issue was being used by Nwoko as a distraction from deeper problems in their relationship. She alleged that he weaponized the “drug narrative” to discredit her and justify his actions.

According to her, despite urging her to attend rehabilitation, Nwoko was the same person who encouraged her substance use because he preferred her behaviour while under the influence.

Daniels also accused the senator of physical and sexual abuse, claiming he forced her to undergo medical treatments, including injections typically administered to patients with bipolar disorder.

The actress further alleged that Nwoko often confiscated her phones and locked her indoors whenever she resisted his control, asserting that their union was never legally formalized.

In part, she wrote:

“Ned, how could you lie so openly and without remorse? You’ve always tried to cut off my family because of how close we are, and now you’re trying to make them look bad. Yes, I did drugs. But is that really the issue? You rushed to the media shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs’ just to distract people from the real problem.
You wanted to isolate me, arrest everyone around me, and make sure I had no support system. That’s always been your strategy—break people down, make them powerless, and then control them.
You say you want me in rehab, but you’re the same Ned who told me I’m ‘sexier’ when I’m high. You liked me that way because it made me act how you wanted. Why don’t you also tell people how you forced yourself on me, locked me up, seized my phones, and called me mentally unstable whenever I wanted to leave?”

Daniels concluded by accusing Nwoko of hypocrisy, alleging that he used the “drug” narrative as a smokescreen to deflect attention from his own behaviour.

She wrote:

“Every problem we’ve had started when I decided I no longer wanted you. Stop using the drug story to cover the truth. You’re just hurt and struggling to accept that it’s over.”
