Nigerian comedian Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, popularly known as I Go Save, has criticized Nigerians over the backlash directed at Nollywood actress Regina Daniels amid reports of trouble in her marriage.

In a post shared on Instagram, I Go Save accused many social media users of hypocrisy, saying they were quick to act like marriage experts despite never genuinely supporting the actress.

“Many of you just turned into marriage counsellors because of Regina,” he wrote. “Most of you were never happy for her but always wanted her lifestyle so badly. This social media space is full of bitter people with sugar-coated faces.”

Gossip News Now earlier reported that Regina Daniels appeared distressed in a viral video, claiming she could no longer tolerate violence in her marriage. Her brother, Sammy West, also accused her husband, Ned Nwoko, of assaulting her.

In response, Nwoko denied the allegations in a statement posted on his verified Instagram page, alleging instead that Regina’s struggles with drugs and alcohol had caused instability in their home.

He claimed that the actress had become increasingly aggressive, allegedly attacking three domestic staff members and damaging properties, including vehicles and windows, within 48 hours.

Nwoko further stated that Regina refused to participate in a rehabilitation programme he arranged both in Asokoro and abroad — a plan designed to restrict her access to harmful substances.

Expressing concern for his wife’s safety and their child’s well-being, Nwoko maintained that his only goal was to help her recover and restore peace in their family.
