Nigerian singer Young Jonn has opened up about his views on relationships, revealing that he is not ready to commit to one woman at this point in his life.
The Akwa Ibom–born music star shared his thoughts during an appearance on the Way Up podcast hosted by Angela Yee.
According to him, while he values love, he currently prefers to keep things on a friendly and platonic level, rather than dive into anything serious.
“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody,” he explained.
The 30-year-old ‘Aquafina’ crooner added that entering a serious relationship now would be unfair, as he would not be able to give the attention and dedication such commitment deserves.
“I don’t want a serious relationship right now because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?” he said.
His remarks come in the wake of reports about the end of his relationship with Adenike Adeleke, popularly known as Nikos Living and cousin to superstar Davido.
The pair’s romance sparked speculation in early 2024 after Adenike shared photos and updates featuring them together. However, by August 2025, signs of a breakup surfaced when they unfollowed each other on social media and deleted shared pictures.
