The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed satisfaction over the successful release of pupils and teachers who were abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, describing the development as a welcome relief after nearly two months of uncertainty.
The opposition party said the victims’ return to freedom has brought renewed hope to their loved ones, local residents and many Nigerians who closely monitored the incident throughout the 56-day ordeal.
