Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson, who recently sealed a season-long loan move to Bayern Munich, has spoken for the first time since completing the switch, insisting he has no regrets about leaving Stamford Bridge.

GossipNewsNow recalls that the Senegal international joined the Bundesliga champions on transfer deadline day after falling out of favour under new Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca.

The move almost collapsed after an injury to Liam Delap forced Chelsea to reconsider their striking options, but Bayern pushed through and finalized the deal before the window closed.

In an interview with TuttoSport, Jackson admitted the transfer stirred mixed emotions but described it as a step he is excited to take.

“There were very strong emotions, but not for the reasons you might think. I was simply very happy to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world, to discover another league and other great players. At the same time, I was a little sad to leave Chelsea, my teammates, and the fans,” he said.

Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023, emphasized that he bears no resentment towards the club or manager.

“Football is full of cycles. I respect Maresca, I learned a lot from him, he has his own ideas and style. I have no regrets, just gratitude for my time at Chelsea,” he added.
