Abdullahi Ganduje, former Governor of Kano State and ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has returned to Nigeria after spending several weeks on holiday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
He landed at Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Saturday at approximately 4:30 pm via an Emirates Airlines flight, and later traveled to Abuja that same evening.
Following his arrival, Ganduje is scheduled to begin a series of consultations and meetings with key stakeholders to address ongoing political developments in Kano State.
In a statement released on Saturday by his Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba, it was revealed that these engagements would include wide-ranging discussions with party leaders and other important stakeholders to assess the state’s evolving political climate.
“The consultations are intended to evaluate current political dynamics and engage comprehensively with party leaders and stakeholders,” the statement said.
Garba also noted that Ganduje would participate in the APC’s ongoing nationwide electronic membership registration (e-registration) exercise.
The statement highlighted that the e-registration initiative, which Ganduje launched during his tenure as APC National Chairman, aims to modernize the party’s membership system, strengthen internal planning, and ensure membership records are credible, accessible, and up to date.
“The former governor remains committed to fortifying party structures and fostering inclusive dialogue to support democratic consolidation within the APC, particularly in Kano State,” the statement added.
