Nollywood actress Mama No Network has made a heartfelt public appeal for assistance on behalf of her colleague, Aunty Ajara, who is reportedly pregnant and facing a serious health crisis.
In a video shared on Instagram on Friday, January 31, 2026, Mama No Network described Ajara’s condition as critical, emphasizing that immediate prayers and financial support are needed to address her medical challenges.
She stressed that the appeal is not intended for social media engagement but is a genuine emergency requiring swift intervention from well-meaning Nigerians.
According to Mama No Network, Ajara is a humble and respectful individual who dedicates most of her income to caring for her mother, who is recovering from a stroke. Despite this, her worsening health has severely limited her ability to work.
The actress revealed that Ajara’s pregnancy was only discovered after her health began deteriorating, following advice in December to seek proper medical attention rather than continue self-treatment at home. Further examinations confirmed that she is suffering from a liver-related condition, which was initially mistaken for complications from the pregnancy.
Mama No Network explained that, despite her fragile state, Ajara has been moving around, which may have further aggravated her illness. She appealed to the public to provide both prayers and financial assistance, noting that any medical support prescribed by doctors would be greatly appreciated.
She expressed deep concern for her friend, saying that Ajara is someone she truly loves and respects. Mama No Network also highlighted Ajara’s gratitude, pointing out that she always shares any support she receives with her mother.
In her message to the public, she said:
“Good day, everyone. I hope you are all well. I am appealing to the public concerning Ajara. Many times, we ask why we post more ‘RIP’ messages than we support people while they are still alive. For God’s sake, I am sincerely begging you all—Ajara is in a very critical condition.
Some people think this is content, but it is not. This is real life. Time is not on Ajara’s side, and we urgently need your help, both financially and through prayers. You all know that I, Mama No Network, hardly do things like this, but Ajara is someone I truly love. She is calm, accommodating, and very respectful.
One of the reasons I am speaking out is that no matter how little or much you give Ajara, she is never ungrateful. She always says she is going home to give it to her mother, who is a stroke patient. She uses everything she earns to care for her mother. It’s not that Ajara does not work—her health situation is the challenge.
I am also appealing because Ajara is pregnant. We did not discover the pregnancy early until her condition became worse. In December, I advised her to go to the hospital instead of treating herself at home. That was when the pregnancy was discovered. Sadly, doctors have now confirmed it is a liver disease, which we initially thought was related to the pregnancy.
Despite her condition, Ajara has been moving around. Please, this is not content, and we cannot fold our arms. We are also open to any medication doctors recommend to help reduce her pain.
We sincerely beg you, our people, to come to her aid. Thank you.”
