Fresh rumours surrounding the health of former Kano State governor and national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, have been strongly dismissed by members of the Kwankwasiyya Movement.
The clarification followed widespread online reports claiming that the prominent northern politician allegedly travelled abroad for urgent medical treatment.

Reacting to the growing speculation, associates of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso stated that the former presidential candidate only travelled outside Nigeria for private engagements.

A spokesperson linked to the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Mansur Kurugu, maintained that the reports about the politician seeking treatment overseas were entirely false.

He revealed that the former Kano governor visited Singer Market in Kano earlier on Thursday before his departure abroad.
During the visit, the NNPP leader reportedly met with traders affected by a recent fire incident that destroyed goods and properties worth millions of naira.
The visit, according to his aides, demonstrated that the politician was healthy and actively engaging with the public before travelling.
