Fresh details have emerged surrounding the tragic road accident involving former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, as the son of the driver involved has publicly defended his father against allegations of reckless driving.
The fatal crash, which occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in late December, led to the deaths of two close members of Joshua’s team and sparked widespread reactions both in Nigeria and abroad.
Now, 19-year-old Ifeoluwa Adeniyi has come forward to explain what allegedly happened moments before the collision.

The driver’s son also disclosed that Joshua was initially seated in the front passenger seat before later moving to the back during the journey.
According to his explanation, the change was made to improve the driver’s visibility while travelling.

The latest account also claimed the truck involved in the collision had been parked improperly along the roadside.
