Soludo Hails Tinubu Over Major Southeast Road Projects

Governor Charles Soludo has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving major road infrastructure projects across the Southeast, describing the move as a significant step toward rebuilding the region and addressing decades of developmental neglect.

The Anambra State governor said the latest approvals reflect the President’s commitment to improving connectivity and economic growth across the Southeast, adding that the projects could leave a lasting mark on the region’s history.

Among the projects approved by the Federal Government are the proposed dualization of the 108-kilometre Otuocha–Anam–Abaji (Kogi) Road and the 150-kilometre Oba–Nnewi–Uga–Ihube (Okigwe Junction) Road, a strategic corridor linking Anambra, Imo, Abia, and the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway.
