Renowned Nigerian gospel singer and minister, Nathaniel Bassey, has delivered a strong warning to married men involved in extramarital relationships, cautioning that severe consequences await those who refuse to change their ways.
Gossip News Now reports that the preacher gave the warning while addressing a congregation in a viral video currently circulating online. In the message, Bassey condemned the act of deceiving and exploiting single women under false pretences.
The 44-year-old cleric stressed that his warning was not a joke, declaring that anyone who persists in such behaviour this year would face public disgrace and divine judgment.
He said, “If you are a married man going around deceiving young girls, misleading them, and even sleeping with them, hear this clearly: I place a demand on the grace of God upon my life. If you try it this year, you will not survive.”
He further warned that such actions would not remain hidden, adding that offenders would face public exposure.
“Your shame will not be forgotten. It will be everywhere, including on social media. If you take a woman to a hotel while hiding your marital status, you may not come out of that hotel. You can take my words lightly if you want,” he added.
Bassey also directed a strong message at women who knowingly enter relationships with married men, cautioning them against allowing greed or material desires to lead them astray.
“If you know a man is married and you still go ahead because of money, attention, Brazilian wigs, luxury bags, or material benefits, you are equally guilty. If you try it this year, you won’t survive it,” he warned.
