Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has addressed the criticism she received after deciding to keep her new romantic relationship private, asserting that she is simply enjoying her happiness.
Gossip News Now reports that the mother of one recently shared a video of herself dancing, reflecting her joy since choosing not to publicly post about her partner.
In the post, she wrote, “Since I started to hide my man, life is just sweet anyhow. Wish I did earlier, but we move. Hey Daddy, I love you pieces.”
Despite her happiness, the post drew sharp criticism from some followers, prompting Nkechi to respond directly to the backlash.
The actress pointed out that women often judge other women harshly, noting that many married women still behave as if they were single, which can fuel frustration toward those embracing new love.
Remaining unapologetic, Nkechi emphasized that she is merely enjoying her relationship. She wrote, “Women are always tearing another woman down. See the bitterness in my last post.
“I no blame una. Some of una dey husband house but still living like a single woman, why won’t you let out your frustration on a woman who did nothing but fell in love again? Una go dey alright. Lick my fat ass.”
During the holiday season, Nkechi had shared photos with her new partner in matching outfits, explaining that she had expected to end the year single but instead found happiness.
The relationship comes after her previous romance with musician Eseoghene Obire, popularly known as Xxssive, ended in March. She clarified that their breakup was amicable.
