Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has claimed that Nigerian lawmaker Ned Nwoko married her colleague Regina Daniels when the actress was just 17 years old.

Gossip News Now reports that Doris made the revelation amid ongoing debates surrounding Regina’s age.

In an Instagram post, Doris stated that she had seen Regina Daniels’ birth certificate, emphasizing that only a mother can accurately confirm her child’s age.

She wrote: “Only a mother knows when she gave birth. I’ve seen Regina’s birth certificate and international passport. Gina was born on October 10, 2001, and she got married around May 2019. She was 17 plus at the time of her marriage.”

Meanwhile, Regina Daniels has explained why she never filed for a divorce from her estranged partner, Ned Nwoko.

In an Instagram post, she clarified that their union was not legally recognized.

The mother of two noted that no court documents were ever signed, making an official divorce impossible despite her wish to end the relationship long ago.

She added that she had invested her prime years, energy, and career opportunities during her time with him but now seeks complete freedom from any control.

Regina also emphasized that love and marriage cannot be forced, insisting that her choice to move on should be respected.
