Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has criticised Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly, over his recent comments about his estranged wife, Regina Daniels.
Reports indicate that Nwoko, during a recent meeting at an Abuja hotel, alleged that Daniels had absconded from home for four days, engaging in smoking and drinking at the hotel. He also claimed that she blocked the hotel with her cars and contacted him to deploy the police commissioner to ensure no one left the premises.
In response to the widely circulated video of Nwoko’s statements, Etinosa took to her Instagram story to condemn the senator for repeatedly dragging Regina Daniels into public discourse, especially at a time when the nation is facing more pressing issues.
She wrote, “The more you try to embarrass the mother of your children, the more you embarrass yourself. Don’t you know? Look at a Nigerian senator — in these trying times in Nigeria, is this your top priority? At your age, you don’t know how to manage your marital affairs. Carry microphone, sir. Shame hide me for Oluwanaira bathroom. Tuehhhh.”
Etinosa’s post highlights growing public concern over the private matters of public figures being used for personal or political attention.
