Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly rejected an alleged $10,000 settlement reportedly offered by the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor, describing the move as unacceptable and insulting.
Ogala disclosed this in a video shared on her Instagram page on Saturday, although the footage was recorded earlier on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
In the video, the actress claimed that the cleric presented the money in an attempt to persuade her to retract and publicly discredit previous statements she had made about him.
According to Ogala, the amount was given to her in two instalments—$5,000 the previous night and another $5,000 later the following day—during what she described as a plea for reconciliation.
She further alleged that Pastor Okafor suggested she fabricate a narrative accusing other pastors of sponsoring her allegations against him, in exchange for publicly debunking her earlier claims.
“This man is just mad,” Ogala said in the video.
“He wanted me to come out and say that some pastors sent me to fight him, and then I should withdraw everything I’ve said.”
The actress insisted that she would not lie or shift blame to other clergy members for any reason, regardless of financial inducement.
She also emphasised that accepting the money did not invalidate her claims, stating that she deliberately collected it to prove that the offer was indeed made and to make the matter public.
“You will never use this money as a transaction in my life,” she said, adding that the amount meant nothing to her and that she was not engaging in blackmail.
Ogala further stated that she recorded the video to document the incident, displaying what she said was the money handed to her in a Zenith Bank envelope, while noting the date and time of the recording.
As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the allegations.
