Cubana Chief Priest Urges Southeast to End Monday “Sit-at-Home” Mentality

Popular nightlife entrepreneur and celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest, has openly condemned the persistent custom of staying indoors on Mondays in the South-East, which often keeps schools, markets, and businesses inactive.

In a recent Instagram post, he described this practice as unproductive and counterintuitive, urging people to embrace the start of the week as a chance to gain knowledge in classrooms and generate income through active trade. To lead by example, he even hosted a spontaneous Monday concert, encouraging his followers to rethink the day’s potential.

Highlighting a link between education, commerce, and future influence, Cubana Chief Priest suggested that political developments, including the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, could impact how the South-East positions itself in the 2027 elections. He stressed the importance of building both wealth and wisdom within the region.

He also appealed to government authorities to protect and support students and traders who operate on Mondays, and called for the removal of market leaders who enforce lockdowns on the day. “The South-East is safe and suitable for learning and trade every day except public holidays,” he remarked.

Pointing out the contradiction that people already engage in leisure activities, such as street football and parties, he argued that there is no valid reason to avoid business or schooling. He concluded by urging the community to stop self-sabotaging and to collectively promote education, commerce, and prosperity.
