Party Dismisses Reports Linking Kwankwaso to APC Negotiations

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has strongly denied reports suggesting that its National Leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, made a series of demands while allegedly exploring a move to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Party officials described the claims as baseless, insisting that no discussions of that nature ever occurred between Kwankwaso and the leadership of the APC.

Johnson stressed that the reports should not be mistaken for genuine political developments, noting that they originated from sources seeking public attention rather than presenting verified facts.

The party spokesman further stated that Kwankwaso has not engaged in any formal or informal talks with President Bola Tinubu regarding membership of the APC.

He explained that suggestions of private political arrangements between the two leaders are inaccurate and unsupported by evidence.

The NNPP official argued that attempts to present such claims as established facts have contributed to unnecessary speculation within Nigeria’s political landscape.

Party Urges Public to Ignore Defection Rumours
