Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya has opened up about the challenges she experienced while trying to conceive, revealing that she underwent five surgeries in 2022 during her journey to motherhood.

The veteran actress disclosed the experience during an interview with Oyinmomo TV, where she also spoke about the support she received from fellow actress Iyabo Ojo and the difficulties she encountered in her former marriage.

Five Surgeries Led to Doctor’s Advice

Recounting the experience, Adesanya explained that she underwent several medical procedures within the same year as she continued trying to have a child.

According to her, the repeated surgeries eventually prompted her doctor to advise her to stop undergoing further procedures.

“In 2022, I did five surgeries. I did so many surgeries my doctor told me Enough of this,” the actress said.

Recalling the incident, Adesanya said Ojo had challenged those she believed were making her life difficult. She also explained that her appreciation for Ojo’s support influenced her decision to show up for the actress’s family celebrations.
