Sammy West, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has lashed out at her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, amid the ongoing marital dispute and the alleged arrest of his siblings.

Regina had earlier raised alarm on Instagram, claiming that her elder brother and sister were detained, and accusing Nwoko of attempting to force her into a rehabilitation centre. The senator has denied wrongdoing and instead accused the actress of substance abuse, saying he recommended rehab either in Jordan or Abuja.

Reacting via Instagram, Sammy West strongly rejected Nwoko’s allegations against their family and warned that he would not remain silent.

He accused Nwoko of trying to damage their reputation and alleged that the senator should “retract the accusations” if he doesn’t want more private matters made public. Sammy further referenced a personal tragedy in Nwoko’s family while making his point, accusing him of hypocrisy — a claim which has not been independently confirmed.

He wrote:

“Accusing my siblings of drugs? You’d better take down all this nonsense. The media will hear more than they should if this continues. You stand on integrity, right?”

Sammy vowed to expose more details if the allegations against his family are not withdrawn.
